Overview
The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for lead generation and building a pipeline of top quality prospects. The Inside Sales Manager plans and implements sales, marketing and product development programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets.
Base pay range
$80,000.00 / yr - $100,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities
- Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control inside sales program.
- Manages the department's daily key performance indicators and immediately identifies and responds to the root cause of issues and obstacles that interfere with them.
- Coaches and develops the Inside Sales team to achieve peak performance and meet objectives set forth by management.
- Coordinates meetings to adjust to market and review sales data.
- Create, review and see to completion all project quotes in a timely fashion.
- Reviews customer requests for service and information to clarify requests prior to engineering action.
- Procure quotes from outside vendors on support services to ensure that a high quality product is provided on time as promised.
- Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist Inside Sales Team in promoting sales.
- Reviews market to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates and directly advises Leadership & Team of results.
- Assists marketing and other departments within the organization to prepare manuals, trade show information and technical publications.
- Works directly with customers to determine machine needs and requirements to develop quotes and product offerings to meet customer needs.
- Liaison between sales, manufacturing and engineering departments.
- Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
- Interfaces with and directs product research and development as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience3+ years experience in capital equipment sales and product managementStrong knowledge of press forming and blanking equipment markets, technologies, and applicationsProven track record of building strong sales team, sales management and customer service skillsWillingness to travel to customers (including potential clients), trade shows and other sales related needsSeniority level
