KELOLAND Media Group, in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Local Sales Assistant. The Sales Assistant is a key position that works within an established Sales Department to maximize station revenue opportunities from an order entry, traffic, and accounting perspective.
KELOLAND Media Group is currently seeking a motivated, detail oriented Local Sales Assistant to be an integral part of the sales team.
- Performs all clerical functions for the Sales Department
- Work in collaboration with all facets of the sales department : national sales, local sales, digital sales traffic, and research.
- Maintains awareness of the most current traffic policies, practices, and procedures
- Enters order, traffic and accounting data using computers, ledgers, orders, and other resources.
- Corresponds with customers and confers with coworkers to answer inquiries and resolve account problems.
- Work with corporate A / R department to manage invoices, discrepancy claims and collection issues.
- Problem-solving and deductive reasoning is required to accomplish tasks.
- Prepares forms and reports.
- Maintains files and other business records.
- Perform or assist with additional projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills :
- High School diploma
- Personable with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment
- Ability to work with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Ability to learn industry software.
- One year’s experience in clerical support or administrative assistance, preferably in the sales or media fields
