Electronics Engineer (Contract for Client) SIGMA DESIGN has collaborated with an aerospace company seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their facility in Everett, WA.

This company designs human-machine interface products, offering balanced lighting solutions for cockpit needs. This position is a contract role with an expected duration of 9 months.

They work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver pragmatic, technically sound solutions across the full product lifecycle, from new product development to sustaining.

The individual must have a strong fundamental background and apply their electrical engineering expertise in creative and impactful ways.

Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities : Capture hardware requirements, electrical interfaces, and functional block diagrams.

Design, simulate, and test circuits. Document circuit performance and acceptance criteria. Prepare and present technical information during design reviews and customer interactions.

Resolve technical problems using expert knowledge, root cause analysis, and change impact analysis. Provide technical guidance and mentorship for other engineers.

Education and Experience : (Knowledge, skills, & abilities) Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering 5+ years of engineering experience in aerospace product development or any other highly regulated industry.

Knowledge of circuit board design CAD tools. Demonstrated experience with development assurance processes in a regulated industry, such as aerospace, medical devices, or automotive.

Strong teamwork / interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. Ability to plan work and accomplish objectives with minimal direction.

Strong written and verbal English language communication skills. Must be US Person Pass a post-offer background and drug screening.

Work Environment : Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions. Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation.
