Summary:
-
Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
-
Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
-
Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation for numerically controlled equipment.

Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
-
Works with ABB RobotStudio, ABB robots, KUKA robots, Fanuc robots, and automation control systems.

Works with design, machining, and robot cell programming.

Uses CAD or CAM software including CATIA, Vericut simulation, MasterCAM, Robot Studio, and CENIT.

Applies high-speed machining techniques in a production environment.

Reads, understands, and interprets engineering drawings.

Performs 3D modeling for robotics and machining applications.
Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor 1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Experience with high-speed machining in a production environment.

Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings.

Preferred: Experience as machinist or robotics with shop floor programming skills.

Preferred: Experience in CAD or CAM software including CATIA, Vericut, MasterCAM, Robot Studio, and CENIT.

Preferred: Certification or training in automation or robotics.

Preferred: Experience working in a production environment.

Preferred: Experience with 3D modeling.

Preferred: Experience with ABB RobotStudio, ABB, KUKA, and Fanuc robots.
