Our Director, Business Development, Donor Gamete Services supports the Vice President, Donor Gamete Services and will provide strategic direction, drive business growth, and oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, recruitment of new supply partners and collaborators, establishment of new distribution markets, and policy and procedure development.

  • Develop and implement the overall business development strategy, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and trends in the fertility industry to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish strategic partnerships and alliances (pharma, lenders, payors, tech, etc).
  • Identify and evaluate potential supply partners, collaborators, and key opinion leaders in the fertility industry.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, negotiating and managing partnership agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential partners, assessing their capabilities, reputation, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive go-to-market strategies (domestic and international), including market segmentation, pricing, and distribution channel strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful market entry and expansion.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure effective execution of go-to-market plans across different regions and customer segments.
  • Develop and enhance policies and procedures related to business development activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement standardized processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team.
  • Set performance goals and objectives, conduct performance evaluations, and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the fertility industry.
  • Analyze market data and insights to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Present reports and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
  • Travel : 30-60%, occasionally internationally.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in, with a proven track record of, successfully driving partnerships and business development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the fertility industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of the fertility industry, including fertility treatments, assisted reproductive technologies, and related products / services.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in policy and procedure development, preferably with a focus on streamlining operations and ensuring compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities across different time zones.

For . locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $120,000 and $165,000.

The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
