Job Summary :

Designated Institutional Official – HCA HEALTHONE – Denver Colorado

Opportunity for a DIO to oversee our residency and fellowship programs in the Denver market of the Continental Division.  The Graduate Medical Education programs of the HCA HealthONE Sponsoring Institution consist of 11 ACGME-accredited programs and over 200 residents and fellows encompassing multiple specialties and subspecialties. The DIO will also provide oversight and guidance for non-HCA resident rotations in our facilities. Over the next 3 to 5 years, we anticipate further growth of both our residency and medical and surgical sub-Specialty fellowship programs.  For physician candidates in any medical specialty, this leadership position can include a mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities. Exceptional non-physician applicants with significant GME experience are also eligible for consideration.

Qualified Candidates :

• Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), other Doctorate-level (e.g., PhD, EdD, JD), or other qualifications deemed appropriate by the Division Vice President of GME and facility leadership.
• Prior experience as a DIO, program director, or other significant GME administrative role is highly preferred.
• Experience in undergraduate medical education administration or other healthcare industry administration may be appropriate in certain situations.
