Overview

Perform hand operations such as filing, burring, cleaning, disc grinding, etc. Use related tools that remove excess material or burrs from surfaces, sharp edges or corners. Smooth seams, joints or burred surfaces, using grinding or buffing wheels. Assists production operators. Move and transport raw material and finished product. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities :

Complete work assigned in the allotted time.

Work must meet company quality standards

Upon completion of assigned work, work area and equipment must meet company 5S standard

Report all variances to standards to Manager

Perform other duties as assigned.

Abilities :

Able to use basic hand tools, including standard sheet metal fabrication tools, including calipers and gages

Must have basic math skills (calculator)

Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

Training Requirements :
