Accounts Payable Specialist II
The Accounts Payable Specialist II is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to properties throughout North America. The position is a liaison between the Shared Service Center and the branches.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Verify supporting documentation meets documentation requirements.
- Work with the requestor for additional information necessary to complete the request, still within the initial SLA agreement.
- Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external business partners while offering unsurpassed customer service.
- Accounts Payable Specialist II will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time as requested by department management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Knowledge and Skills :
Analytical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various forms and formats.Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.Capacity to be self-directed while working as a member of a larger team.Perform calculations and analysis used in basic accounting.Basic knowledge in proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures.Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.Time management and time critical prioritization skills.Education and Experience :
