Operations Finance Specialist
Overview
Flexjet is currently seeking a highly capable Operations Finance Specialist to play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial processes.
You will be consulting with management to perform financial analysis, developing financial models, and preparing financial forecasts.
Your insights and expertise will be essential in supporting the operations financial decision-making and driving our department towards financial excellence.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management and invoice teams to gather and analyze financial information
- Conduct cost and benchmarking analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Prepare detailed budget reports and financial forecasts to guide strategic planning
- Participate in regular financial audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide explanations for discrepancies, assisting management in identifying areas that require attention or adjustment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field
- Proven work experience as a Financial Specialist, Financial Analyst, or a relevant role
- Familiarity with finance and statistical analysis software (Experience with Concur is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with hands-on experience using auditing and data analysis tools and programs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain data to upper management
