Experienced Registered Nurses - Acute Care

Job Description

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and / or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education Qualifications

Sign on Bonus : $10,000.00 for ADN

$15,000.00 for BSN

Shift Rotation Availability : D / N, D / E (D / E limited to specific unit availability)

FTE available : 0.8FTE (0.7 or 0.9 based on unit availability)

12 hour shifts may be available (based on unit availability)

Qualifications

Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

Qualifications for Specialty areas (some areas will require additional experience) :

Currently employed as an RN with a minimum of 1 year of med / surg RN experience with current ACLS certification or must obtain ACLS certification within timeframe specified by the ICU management
