About the role :

We are seeking a dedicated VMware Engineer to play a pivotal role in our data center migration and consolidation efforts.

Working closely with Application Owners, Application Architects, and Infrastructure Engineers, you will contribute significantly to the planning and execution of our migration strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

• Focus on VMware and vSphere Site Recovery Manager (SRM) technologies, providing specialized expertise in configuration, management, and optimization.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to design and implement solutions tailored to our migration and consolidation needs.
• Ensure the seamless integration of VMware solutions within the broader data center environment.
• Develop and manage detailed technical migration plans specifically tailored to VMware and SRM environments.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in data center migration, relocation, or consolidation projects.
• Expertise in VMware SRM, Server, and Storage technologies, with a strong focus on configuration and management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical environments and develop effective migration strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.

Location : Hybrid in Dallas (2-3 days onsite)

Note : This position may require occasional travel to CO, VA and flexibility in working hours to accommodate migration activities.

Salary Range : The salary for this position is between $110,000-130,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
