Consumer Products Business Development Manager, Region North America
Irvine, CA / Full-time
Your responsibilities
Identify new growth opportunities (e.g. new categories, partnerships), develop growth strategies and drive implementation to realize those opportunities for PCP in Region North America (RNA) thereby supporting turnover and profitability growth.
- Evaluate new business opportunities (Cross-Category opportunities as well as HomeCare and Food specific product opportunities)
- Generate market and consumer insights for potential new business opportunities (e.g. products, cooperation)
- Steer product feasibility analysis and closely align with global Categories and RNA development teams
- Own business cases and align with all key global and local stakeholders (especially global Category leads)
- Drive implementation decision by taking on responsibility of coordinating evaluation with key stakeholders as well as board members from global PCP and Region North America
- Lead implementation of decided Go to market strategy for chosen growth opportunities incl. but not limited to
- Conducting CEJ (consumer experience journey) workshop as fundament for future GTM strategy identifying key consumer needs as well as communication and sales touchpoints
- Deciding on product portfolio together with global Categories and derive local consumer benefits / / Point of Differences against competition as well as local pricing
- Identifying key requirements and processes to bring strategy to life (e.g. Customer Service process, Logistics process, IT requirements)
- Lead projects together with key stakeholders to ensure that all key requirements can be met for launch of new business opportunity
- Be key sparring partner for new business opportunities for global Categories and global / regional functions
- May handle and resolve more complex requests and issues
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or related field) Required
- Master's Degree (Business or related field) Preferred
- 5-7 Years of Experience (Project Management, Strategy, Consulting, Sales, Marketing and / or Finance) Required
- 5-7 Years of Experience (Working in small domestic appliance industry) Preferred
- Skilled in project management and launch management
- Effectively manage a large internal and external network
- Thorough organizational and excellent communication skills
- Experience in preparing and presenting board level presentations
- Ability to spar, challenge, and advise senior leadership
- Experience working in innovative and highly competitive fast moving environment
- Team player with a proven record to execute complex projects
- Travel Percentage 10%
Your Pay & Benefits
The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location.
If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
