Job Description

We are currently hiring a Market Manager in Reno, NV . The candidate will be required to live in the Reno area.

Please note that while this position is listed as "working remotely", our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The Market Manager (MM) is responsible for increasing availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned distributor territory through direct selling and wholesaler management to generate depletion growth.

Creating a value added wholesaler relationship within all levels of their organizations.

What You'll Brew :

• Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling process
• Learn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles
• Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in multi unit chains and key accounts
• Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentations
• Use internal and external data to plan and identify opportunities across the district
• Build strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers by providing leadership and training across defined geography
• Assist in the develop Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for the defined district
• Manage budget for given district and account base
• Conduct monthly / quarterly Planning & Review meetings to benchmark current progress to goal and sell BBC objectives
• Working conditions vary greatly day to day due to customer facing nature of role
• May be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the business
• Occasional travel for meetings and trainings
• Regular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers

What Ingredients You'll Bring :

Minimum Qualifications :

• 2+ years sales and / or food / beverage industry experience
• Must be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beer
• Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously
• 40% travel to attend Retail and Distributor sales calls and meetings

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree
• Alcohol beverage experience

Level : 6

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is $66,300 - $98,800 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.

Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
