Job descriptionProcess and post incoming customer payments (checks, wires, ACH) with accuracy and efficiency Generate and send customer invoices in accordance with contracts and billing schedules Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances in a professional, persistent manner Reconcile AR accounts monthly, working closely with the CFO to resolve discrepancies Investigate billing issues and provide timely resolution to clients and internal stakeholders Assist in preparing and issuing monthly customer statements Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and reporting Communicate updates regarding customer account status with internal departments Ensure AR processes follow internal controls and financial regulations Suggest and implement improvements to streamline AR workflow 3+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a small or mid-sized organization Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Enterprise is a PLUS Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration and external customer follow-up Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to solve problems Experience with Excel and basic financial reporting preferred
