POSITION OVERVIEW :

This position is located within the Mid-Atlantic Distribution Center is responsible for unloading and loading of fruit at our warehouse. The incumbent provides a wide variety of support to the entire DC. This includes discharge and receiving of product. The successful candidate will he / she must be forward thinking, organized, efficient and self-motivated to complete responsibilities in a timely manner without direct instruction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Unload and load product as directed by manager / supervisor.
• Start gen set / reefer container units and confirm proper operation for loading outbound orders.
• Inspect fruit inbound and outbound for pulp temps and proper color spec.
• Daily use and inspections of Forklifts.
• Ensure compliance with corporate food safety guidelines. This includes training and knowledge of GMP and HACCP / Food Safety guidelines and the application of these guidelines in day to day activities.
