Facilities Maintenance Technician
Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Virginia Beach, VA!

What Our Facilities Maintenance Technicians Do
- Respond promptly to service requests from all Checkered Flag locations
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures and tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
- Troubleshoot general facility maintenance problems and determine technical solution
- Manage heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies
- Abide by all OSHA rules and regulations
Your Pre-Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in facilities or trades preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate in HVAC, electrical or plumbing is preferred.
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
- Able to prioritize, organize and multi-task
- This position requires travel to and from various Checkered Flag locations. Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds
