The School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS) at Seton Hall University invites applications for a twelve-month, assistant professor faculty position in the Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration’s Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) Program beginning July 1, 2024.

The incumbent in this faculty position will focus on health innovation in emerging areas of fiscal and technological management and support the expansion of the program.

Seton Hall University’s MHA Program is the oldest CAHME-accredited program of its kind (on-campus and hybrid / online) in New Jersey and is honored to be part of the select CAHME Mentorship Circle.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Responsibilities include teaching on-campus and online graduate courses, conducting research, applying for grants, mentoring, and advising graduate students, and participating on committees at the program, department, school, and university levels.

Required Qualifications :

A PhD in health administration or a closely related field, DHA, or Candidates with a background and experience in healthcare management, healthcare finance and prior teaching experience, including online and in-person delivery, are especially encouraged to apply.

Interest and / or expertise in virtual health operations, new economic accountability and payment systems, integration of technology including advanced health data analytics and artificial intelligence applications as well as previous work experience in healthcare management and / or finance will be beneficial.
