Description
For approximately two weeks following hire, selected candidate will report to our Folsom office daily for onboarding. After successful completion, selected candidate will have the option to work full time in our Folsom office, or remotely from a home location within a commutable distance from our Folsom, CA office, or a hybrid of both options. Candidates must be able and willing to report in person to our Folsom location when required which is generally 4-6 times per month, but could change based on business needs.
This position is open until filled, with a first review of applications occurring on Friday, December 5th, and tentative interviews scheduled for the week of December 15, 2025.

The Data and Analytics Manager works with PRISM senior management, PRISM Committees, and PRISM staff, to determine the strategic direction of the organization regarding informational and financial reporting, business analytics, data processing, data integration, and data management. The Manager also works with the broker and reinsurance market to determine priorities, develop plans, and deliver reporting and analytic products for the organization.
The position oversees the Data and Analytics (D&A) Department, and provides the team direction regarding PRISM reporting, analysis, data processing, and data management activities. The Manager also oversees the development and management of databases and associated processes which support all reporting and analysis activities. Leadership for the D&A department includes - strategic direction; software platforms and tools; scalability and performance planning; ongoing development and expansion; security, backup and recovery; and day-to-day activities and management.
- Determine both the tactical and strategic direction for PRISM data management and reporting.
- Lead the D&A team towards PRISM's data management and reporting goals.
- Work with all customers (members, third parties, and staff) to determine their business needs for reporting, analytics, and data management.
- Based on competing needs, determine priorities and project plans for D&A solutions.
- Ensure that all D&A deliverables are on time and accurate.
- To the extent possible, make sure that all D&A solutions are automated and reproducible products that can be generated using minimal staff time and manual intervention.
- Work with PRISM management, PRISM Committees, and data providers (members and third parties) to improve data consistency, quality, integrity, and timeliness.
- Assist members with claims data conversions during third party data administrator or claims system migrations or changes.
- Assist members with their data and reporting requirements.
- Support the Actuarial and Data Science team with their data needs and system requirements.
- Provide direction, lead, and be accountable for, the following department activities :
Monthly, Semi-Annual and Annual loss data collection, verification, processing, storage, and access for various programs.
System data integrations (Claims systems, Member Management System, Website, Document Management, etc.).Monthly and quarterly financial reporting including the CSRs, Bordereaux, LPT Reports, and PPR Reports.Member and staff Dashboards including PRISM Program Performance (PPP), Member Loss Experience and Benchmarking, Membership, Member Services, Claims, and Risk Control.Monthly Member Performance and Loss Analysis reporting.Annual and Semi-annual PRISM Market data.Monthly broker loss experience data.Actuarial Loss and Exposure data and reporting.External reporting.Financial reconciliation.COVID-19 Reporting.Response to ad-hoc requests for reports, information or data as needed.Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field or any combination of education or experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the position.Experience :
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in data management, business analytics, or database administrationAt least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experienceExperience with financial or operational reporting in a mid-to-large organizationTechnical Skills :
