Appliance and HVAC Sales Account Executive (Base + Uncapped Commissions - OTE Range $80K to $140K)
West Coast Chief Repair, the largest Major Appliance and HVAC repair and replacement company in Southern California that is dedicated to property management and apartment owners, is seeking a motivated and experienced B2B Sales Account Executive to join our growing company. Founded in 1994, our company services our clients' properties in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura Counties. We are well respected in the industry and support all the apartment owners and property management associations throughout Southern California.
The successful candidate will report directly to our President and be part of the management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business by targeting property management firms and apartment owners that the company is not currently servicing as an approved vendor, a market with significant growth potential.
Responsibilities
New Business Development : Actively identify, pursue, and secure new business partnerships with property management companies and apartment owners throughout Southern California.
Sales Strategy : Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to penetrate new markets. This includes cold calling, prospecting, and managing a sales pipeline.
Client Engagement : Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial contact and vendor qualification to setting up meetings (in-person and virtual), delivering compelling presentations, and negotiating contracts.
Relationship Management : Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, including property account executives and operations managers, to secure and maintain approved vendor status.
CRM and Reporting : Accurately track and manage all sales activities and client interactions using our CRM software (Pipedrive).
Marketing Collaboration : Work closely with our marketing department to create lead lists, develop targeted email campaigns, and produce effective presentations and marketing materials.
Company Representation : Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, association seminars, and webinars to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Growth and Leadership : Currently, new sales are conducted by the President and VP of Operations. This is a new position with an upside sales opportunity to impact the company, be rewarded in doing so, and potentially lead to managing a sales team in the future.
Qualifications
Experience : A minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience is required. Experience in home services, property management, or related industries is highly preferred, but not required. B2B sales experience in another industry will be considered, and we welcome you to apply.
Skills : Proven expertise in sales, cold calling, and delivering engaging presentations.
Technology Proficiency : Comfortable in using software, CRMs (e.g., Pipedrive or similar), presentation tools, professional social software such as LinkedIn, and open to new and changing technology.
Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate our value proposition.
Independent and Proactive : A self-starter with the ability to work independently from a home office and manage your schedule, while also collaborating with the leadership team. The account executive will also have an office at the corporate office in Burbank, CA. We prefer that candidates live in LA County or Northern Orange County to be centrally located close to potential customers and within a reasonable drive to the corporate office for meetings.
Teamwork : The sales account executive will need to work with other departments to set up and service the client once the company is an approved vendor, including operations, customer service, and accounting.
