- Eligibility for Raises Our Full-Time Salary Range for Wellness Center Veterinarians is $85,000 - $115,000per year As a PetIQ veterinarian at one of our new Cost Plus wellness centers, you will have the unique opportunity to develop a client base and leave your personal mark on a brand new facility in your community! You will have the autonomy to practice veterinary medicine the way you see fit to align with PetIQ’s standards.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to work full-time or part-time at our Glendale, AZ Wellness Center, Tuesday Saturday.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examinations and blood testing; administer vaccinations, nail trims and microchips
- Consult pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care
- Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records
- Provide mentorship to veterinary support team by communicating PetIQ medical standards, ethical practices, and your knowledge and experience
- Continuously strengthen and build the PetIQ brand
- Attend monthly staff training meetings
- Other duties or functions as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- AZ State license to practice in the profession
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of vaccine protocols, intestinal parasites prevention and heartworm prevention, heartworm disease in both cats and dogs, heartworm and flea preventives, and prescription products
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring accurate and reliable work product
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Creative, flexible and innovative thinker; management skills to mentor team
Education Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- AZ State license to practice in the profession
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
