Job Overview :

Under the direction of the Department Director of the Intensive Care unit and the Progessive Care unit, the Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility in overseeing and coordinating the clinical activities, operations, quality and safety of patient care and patient experience of the assigned unit.

General Responsibilities :

Qualifications

Previous leadership / management experience required.

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at start date.

Additional certifications required at start date or interfacility transfer (unless otherwise stated) :

All Nursing Units / Depts (except Nursery) - ACLS (New graduate RNs within 90 days of start date)

CNOR certification preferred.
