Manager - Vascular and Interventional Clinic
We are looking for a hands-on VIC Department Manager that is consistently reliable, customer service driven, responsible for team development and motivation, who is a coach and respectful disciplinarian with positive reinforcement, and capable of effective multi-tasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
We are seeking someone with strong office and employee management experience, who has experience in healthcare and radiology.
Bilingual (Spanish / English) is an advantage as many of our patients are Spanish speakers.
Centrelake Imaging is a full-service, all digital radiology network in Southern California. Our practice was founded in 2006 in Ontario, CA by a team of experienced medical practitioners focused on delivering high quality and affordable diagnostic imaging services including vascular and interventional radiology procedures.

Our VIC department performs a wide variety of procedures including angiograms, venous access, dialysis access management, biopsies and other specialized procedures.
Manager will oversee facility staff and manage daily operations, workflows, increasing productivity and service to help deliver an exceptional medical experience for our patients undergoing minimally invasive outpatient surgical procedures.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Overseeing scheduling for Downey, West Covina, and Anaheim vascular interventional centers.
- Manage and assist answering phone calls and scheduling STAT same-day appointments
- Manage staff schedule based on procedure schedule forecasted daily.
- Creating physician schedule every month.
- Overseeing daily operations at our 3 sites
- Help resolve technical or team related issues.
- C-ARM and Ultrasound machine management, vendor engagement and problem resolution.
- Maintaining invoices and packing slips from techs ensuring everything is properly received and approved by the medical director.
- Ensure that nurses and techs daily tasks are current and completed.
- Assist medical director with facility accreditation every quarter
- Track all physician reports, ensure they are completed in a timely matter and studies are finalized daily.
- Tracking and manage all biopsy reports so they are being received and scanned into patients charts accordingly, ensure abnormal results are being received by referring provider.
- Address any issues that may arise from Dialysis centers and referring doctors offices
- Focus on building team morale, engagement and improving productivity.
- Conflict management for both employees and patients alike.
- Responsible for Payroll reporting (bi-weekly basis).
- Participate in and monitor Site Manager telephone queue and assist with all queries.
- Serve as primary point of contact for referring physicians for assigned location.
- Ensures all files are maintained and organized systematically.
- Review and monitor team schedules, work hours, improve workflow, communication, and team functionality.
- Address irregularities in the delivery of care or service, policy violations, etc., and take corrective action to redirect behavior.
- Mentoring and training responsibilities, including identifying and evaluating urgent matters.
- Ensure staff provides and maintains the highest level of care and service in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.
- Responsible for hiring, terminations, counseling, retention, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, staff development and improvement.
- Functions as a patient service liaison and escalation point of contact to help with resolving root cause issues.
- Provides information for all reports, charting, and requests for documents accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Ensure compliance with various State, County, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain HIPPA confidentiality standards for the organization.
- Assist with business development events and activities.
- Establish relationships with local referring physicians and medical groups.
- Flexibility in availability and ability to work weekends, as necessary (rare).
Job Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience working in healthcare as senior team lead or manager. (Supervisory Experience, RN shift supervisor, department manager, or agency manager)
- Experienced in managing both patient and staff schedules.
- RN experience is ideal, and helpful for this environment.
- Knowledge of radiology standards, vascular intervention, and procedures.
- Highly skilled in maintaining strong relations with providers and patients.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, providers, and patients.
- Familiar with managing medical supplies
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).
- Knowledge of EHR and PACS.
- Consistently dependable and reliable, both in attendance and punctuality.
- Knowledge of PPO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal guidelines.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and redirect negative behavior.
- This person will cover both Downey and West Covina, CA locations
