Job Details – Medical Surgical RN Travel Assignment

Location : Albany, GA 31701 – Southwest Georgia healthcare jobs in a friendly, affordable community near Atlanta, Tallahassee, and Shell Point Beach.

Setting : Acute Care – Medical Surgical Unit (44 beds)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Duration : 17 weeks

Shifts : 12-hour days (6 : 45 AM – 7 : 15 PM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Scrub Color : Caribbean Blue

EMR : Meditech (preferred experience)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Georgia RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

BLS certification (AHA required)

NIHSS certification (AHA required)

Ability to float to all acute care and cardiac units

Willingness to work holidays as needed

Must reside at least 75 miles from Albany, GA (strict radius requirement)

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in a busy Medical Surgical unit

Manage a patient load of 1 : 5, occasionally 1 : 6

Collaborate with nurse aides and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Accurately document care and interventions using Meditech EMR

Float to other acute care and cardiac units as needed

Participate in general and unit-specific orientation, including EMR training
