Account Director Responsibilities Act as primary client lead, and day-to-day lead on account teams, setting the direction for the account and identifying PR priorities that directly map back to business objectives for our clients Lead the development of informed and targeted media plans and campaigns - from ideation to execution Drive media results through outreach and creative story ideation Produce and / or edit written content Lead and deliver client presentations - reporting, planning, etc.

Support agency development projects - new business pitches, company trainings, team events, recruiting, etc. Coach and mentor internal team members, conducting annual performance reviews Manage SBS Fellowship program (internship) Makes recommendations on team staffing to ensure accounts have coverage and complementary skills Working with Sr.

Directors and VPs, support scope of work and budget conversations with clients Account Director Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar area At least 6 years in-house or agency PR experience Demonstrated ability to grow accounts and build client relationships Demonstrated ability to drive meaningful media results Strong presentation and verbal communication skills Detail oriented and focus on setting and managing to a high bar A creative mindset Brilliant writing skills (we’ll want to see samples) Experience or demonstrated readiness to supervise junior staff Self-starter work ethic and player-coach management style We understand that a job description may not capture all of the skills and experiences that can contribute to success in this role.

Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications.

If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Salary ranges for this position are between $100,000 and $140,000 annually.
