The Director of Marketing leads all marketing strategy and execution for the All-Inclusive Resort Division, overseeing brand positioning, content creation, digital media, and performance marketing across multiple resort brands in the Dominican Republic and other key destinations. This role defines destination and property narratives, ensures brand consistency across channels, and drives demand generation to achieve revenue and profitability goals. The Director partners closely with Revenue Management, Direct Channels, and Operations to ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies. They manage media plans, creative production, and public relations initiatives, maintaining a balance between creative excellence and data-driven accountability. This position is both strategic and hands-on, requiring deep expertise in hospitality marketing, brand stewardship, and leadership within a fast-paced, global environment.
KEY SKILLS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and content calendar for all-inclusive resorts, aligning with commercial and revenue goals.
- Oversee paid, owned, and earned media—including digital campaigns, social, SEO / SEM, PR, influencer programs, and partnerships—to maximize reach and ROAS.
- Manage brand governance across multiple hotel flags, ensuring consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging across all markets.
- Direct creative and collateral production, including advertising, photography, video, and digital content, maintaining strong quality and storytelling standards.
- Collaborate with Revenue, Sales, and eCommerce teams to optimize promotions, offers, and direct booking performance.
- Supervise agency partners and internal teams; manage budgets, contract negotiations, and performance reporting.
- Lead measurement, analytics, and reporting of campaign effectiveness, brand visibility, and ROI; adjust strategies based on performance insights.
- Oversee PR, media relations, and crisis communication plans in coordination with brand and property leadership.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required; Master’s preferred.8–10+ years of progressive hospitality marketing experience, with strong all-inclusive or resort background.Proven success leading multi-channel marketing strategies that drive measurable revenue and brand growth.Strong understanding of digital media, SEO / SEM, creative production, influencer marketing, and analytics platforms.Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills; ability to guide cross-functional teams.Bilingual (English and Spanish) required; ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.After an initial waiting period, those hired into full time positions are eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes the following :
