The Order Coordinator plays a vital role in the management and execution of customer orders, ensuring that all requests are processed accurately, efficiently, and with a high level of customer satisfaction. This position works closely with sales, customer service, and logistics teams to track orders from receipt to delivery, resolve issues, and maintain comprehensive records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
Process and manage customer orders received through various channels (phone, email, and digital platforms).
Accurately enter, update, and monitor orders in the order management system.
Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delivery updates, or potential delays.
Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, and inventory teams to facilitate timely order fulfillment.
Resolve discrepancies, product shortages, or shipping issues promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions.
Generate and review order status and fulfillment reports as required.
Provide support for special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in order coordination, customer service, or a related field.
Proficiency with order management systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Compensation :
Hourly Pay Rate : $25.00 - $45.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and education)
