WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Lead of Next Battery Solutions & Propulsion Testing is responsible for advancing innovative automotive battery solutions while building and scaling in-house propulsion testing and validation capabilities. This role bridges product innovation with practical execution, ensuring the organization delivers cutting-edge, validated technologies for future propulsion systems.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of next- battery technologies, architectures, and integration strategies.
• Build and manage a team of design release engineers to meet program needs.
• Define and support requirements for next- batteries and battery management systems.
• Oversee design release for batteries and integrated components, from concept to production, ensuring alignment with vehicle architecture.
• Support project management by driving schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Act as a key interface for internal and external stakeholders on future battery solutions and validation capabilities.
• Lead testing and validation phases, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with technical, functional, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and expand internal propulsion testing and validation infrastructure, including facilities, tools, and processes.
• Identify, assess, and mature breakthrough technologies in energy storage and propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with program management, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver validated solutions on time and within budget.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship across energy storage and propulsion testing teams.
• Ensure testing methodologies align with DVPs, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
