What a typical day as a Warehouse Worker might look like :
Responsibilities :
l Process customer orders daily to meet their expectations
l Work in one or more process paths; receiving, picking, packing, or shipping
l Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures and complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials
l Help ensure inventory is stored properly
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
Qualifications :
l High school diploma or equivalent required
l 2+ years of general warehouse experience
l Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)
l Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus
l Experience with computers and scanning equipment preferred
l Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for significant periods of time (involving walking, stooping, bending, and reaching) required
l Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
l Desire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quickly
l Ability to read and write in English
l Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs
