This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission.

Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.

As part of a hardworking team of experts, you will contribute to play a key role in the design, development, and customization of our Maximo system.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new functionalities, integrations, and enhancements within the Maximo platform to meet the organization's evolving business needs.

This role involves collaborating with multi-functional teams, understanding system requirements, and demonstrating Maximo's capabilities to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Lead the administration and optimization of the Maximo application, including system configurations, customizations, and enhancements
  • Handle the coordination of deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and patches of the system to ensure scalability, stability, and security
  • Work closely with team members to capture and define system requirements, develop solutions, and align system capabilities with organizational objectives
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges
  • Design and implement standard processes for system usage, data governance, reporting, and analytics
  • Collaborate with key business units to evaluate, plan, and implement system improvements and new functionalities
  • Stay abreast of emerging Maximo industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies to drive innovation and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications

  • Confirmed experience as a Maximo System Administrator, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Maximo system administration, configuration, customization, and integration
  • Strong proficiency in database management, SQL queries, and performance tuning
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to drive complex initiatives and projects
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capacity to resolve intricate system issues
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.

S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Maximo certification or relevant professional certifications are highly desirable
  • Experience with Atlassian Tool suite (Jira, Confluence) in an agile environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments
  • Experience with Windchill, and Tableau

Paid Time Off : Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus : Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
