Procurement Manager Opportunity!

Summary
A growing company within the nutraceuticals space is looking to add a Procurement Manager to their manufacturing facility in the greater Dallas, TX area!
The company is looking for someone with the skills to identify new suppliers for their complex manufacturing process including capsules, tablets, and powders.
This role will work cross functionally with many other departments and will be responsible for leading a team of 3 buyers.
Job Responsibilities :
- Act as the company's main point of contact with various suppliers and maintain these relationships
- Identify new suppliers and cost savings opportunities
- Utilize strong negotiation skills for contracts, terms, and deadlines with new and existing suppliers and vendors
- Process POs (purchasing orders) to acquire various goods for the business

Requirements :
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
- Experience leading a team
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Experience in food and beverage or nutraceutical environment preferred
