Job Description

Data Engineer and PLSQL Developer-

Charlotte NC

6-12 MONTHS

This position requires inperson interview

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ODS data models supporting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) workflows.
  • Write and optimize complex PL / SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views .
  • Collaborate with product teams and data governance to map data from source systems to ODS.
  • Ensure data quality, lineage, and consistency across systems.
  • Support data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation from source systems
  • Work closely with architects and product owners to ensure alignment with architecture standards .
  • Participate in unit testing, performance tuning, and defect resolution .
  • Support production deployment and post-implementation validation .

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Skills :

  • 5 8 years of experience in Oracle PL / SQL development and data engineering.
  • Strong expertise in database schema design and data modelling (OLTP / ODS) .
  • Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
  • Proficiency in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is an added advantage.

    • Domain & Functional Skills (Nice to Have) :

  • Familiarity with KYC, AML, CDD, or EDD processes in financial institutions.
  • Exposure to banking data governance, risk, or compliance systems .
  • Understanding of data controls and regulatory reporting requirements .

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate business logic into SQL transformations.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
