As an Equipment Traveling Mechanic II, your key responsibility will be to maintain service operations by inspecting and repairing defective electrical, electronic, mechanical, and / or hydraulic components on vehicles and heavy construction equipment.

What it takes :

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college / technical school and 3 years' experience, or minimum of 5 years of related experience and / or training
  • Welding and fabrication experience (desired)
  • Aerial experience (desired)
  • Experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drive train, controls, and electronic diagnostics (desired)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
  • Federal Medical Card
  • Travel
