Job Details

Key Duties :
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and non-profits.
- Research and cooperate on diverse tax projects.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from the IRS and other regulatory bodies.
- Prepare extensions and quarterly estimates.
- Contribute to other projects as required.
- Understand and value the significance of client relationships and timely client service.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff.
Requirements :
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
- A Master of Tax degree is desirable.
- Prior experience in public accounting is a plus but not essential.
- Preference for CPA certified individuals. Non-CPAs should either meet the educational prerequisites or be in the process of meeting the requirements to sit for the exam.
- Proficient in problem-solving, critical thinking, research, and written and verbal communication.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Ability to follow directions, exercise good judgement, and demonstrate tact.
- Ability to prioritize tasks while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is desired.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to professional growth and development.
