Senior Project Manager
A leading consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a high-visibility project with the New York State Department of Health . Responsibilities :
Manage operational activities for a large-scale, complex office or government project involving multiple agencies and more than 50 stakeholders.Oversee tasks related to Medicaid programs, health information systems, eligibility systems, or other healthcare-related IT initiatives.Track financials including POs, expense monitoring, funding requests, and development / maintenance of financial reports or dashboards.Provide comprehensive administrative and project management support in a public sector or enterprise IT environment.Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and guidance documentation.Review operational transmittals, memos, and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedural requirements.Use Microsoft Office and SharePoint for project coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication.Required Qualifications :
60 months managing operational tasks for large-scale, complex projects (minimum $2M budget, 50+ stakeholders).60 months experience related to Medicaid programs or healthcare-related IT / operations.60 months experience tracking project financials and handling POs, expenses, and financial reporting.60 months supporting administrative or project management functions in a public sector or enterprise IT setting.60 months drafting or maintaining SOPs, workflows, and guidance documents.60 months reviewing business / operational deliverables for completeness and compliance.60 months proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.Bachelor's Degree or higher required.
