We have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our client’s team in Smyrna, GA. With over 80 years in business, this electrical contracting firm is a trusted name in commercial and industrial projects, having partnered with top-tier clients like Coca-Cola, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft. This role will support senior engineers and project managers in designing power and lighting systems using Revit and assist in performing power studies.

What You’ll Do

Model electrical systems and perform short circuit and coordination studies using SKM Power Tools

Design and model electrical content in 3D Revit, planning out systems based on the National Electrical Code

Write basic macros in Excel and JavaScript to streamline repetitive tasks

Support field teams and project managers with drawing preparation, large-format printing, and design documentation

Prepare technical reports for client distribution

Contribute to a high-performing, quality-driven design team

What You Bring

Required : BSEE or BSEET degree

3+ years of electrical design experience for commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities (will consider sharp candidates with 2+)

Strong proficiency in Revit, including electrical modeling; ability to build “Revit families” is a big plus

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality

Preferred :

Experience using SKM Power Tools

Familiarity with short circuit coordination studies
