Systems Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS :

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below :

Understanding of networking configuration to include IP sub-netting, wireless, routing, switching, IP telephony, and the deployment of voice and video equipment.

Understanding of ordering, installing, and maintaining telecommunication circuits and associated equipment.

Two years of college or equivalent post-high school education.

Must hold a valid driver’s license with no restrictions and possess reliable transportation.

Ability to obtain a passport and travel 15%-50% of the time sometimes on short notice.

Available for limited after-hours support including weekends and holidays.

A self-starter with a strong desire to learn.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to interact with vendors and coworkers with a positive attitude and a desire to provide excellent customer service.

Ability to lift 50 pounds and install IT equipment into cabinets.

Any other duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Qualifications :

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration :

3+ years of IT-related experience.

3+ years of experience in managing networks or working with unified communication equipment.
