Apartment Maintenance Technician

PrideStaff Columbus East is currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician in the Columbus, Ohio area. We have several opportunities available at this time serving apartment and condo communities.

The role will rely on your maintenance experience, people skills, positive attitude and time management skills. You’ll need to be organized with attention to detail and have basic computer skills.

This challenging opportunity includes :

• Helping to keep your assigned community in excellent condition, inside and out
• Keeping grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape
• Performing maintenance for service requests / work orders
• Providing customer service to current and future residents and homeowners
• Managing priorities and competing demands in a busy environment
• Scheduled hours are typically Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and on-call duties vary based on the property

You offer the following minimum requirements :

• Basic maintenance knowledge : Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Appliance Repair, Apartment Turnovers, Grounds, Pool Care, Lighting, etc.
• Prior maintenance experience and own basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and auto insurance

Other helpful skills and competencies :

• Basic computer or smartphone skills
• Prior residential maintenance experience helpful
• Good time management skills

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $22.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
