Job description

Senior Maintenance Engineer

We have a live opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Aerospace manufacturing company based close to Santa Ana CA.

Due to growth our client is actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their industry leading business. The Senior Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery, including both mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities for the Senior Maintenance Engineer :

  • Conduct mechanical repairs on machining centres.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens and / or NIT controls.
  • Confident working with 3 and 5 axis machinery.
  • Able to run electrical / electronic fault finding and diagnosis (servo motors, relays, sensors, etc.)
  • Ability in tool probing.
  • Experience fabricating replacement parts when needed.

Experience for the Senior Maintenance Engineer :

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 10+ years of CNC maintenance experience.
  • Strong maintenance background in CNC machines, mechanical and electrical systems, pneumatics is ESSENTIAL.
  • Experience in fault finding and diagnosis on PLC.
  • Highly confident with reading technical schematics and blueprints.
  • Certifications in Fanuc and Siemens are Highly Desirable.
  • Training with Mori Seiki, Makino, Cincinnati Milacron, OKK, SNK and Kuraki Machines would be advantageous.

    • Shift and pay rates for the Senior Maintenance Engineer :

  • This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday.
  • Pay range is $55ph up to $70ph depending on experience.
  • $5000 sign on bonus.

    • This is a full-time permanent position for the successful Senior Maintenance Engineer.
