Job Title : Post Doctoral Scholar
Department : Medicine Neurological Surgery
Responsibility
- Developing micro / nano sensors and stimulators for biomedical applications and data analysis for in vitro / in vivo environment
- Experimental setup and data acquisition related to implantable systems
- Presenting research findings at group meetings, scientific conferences, writing and publishing manuscripts to disseminate the findings
- Assisting with grant writing to obtain research funds
- Developing research objectives and carry out individual and multidisciplinary collaborative projects
- Highly motivated and professional work ethic, committed to high quality research and a willingness to proactively support colleagues and students
Qualifications
- Applicants should hold a BS degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering or a closely related field
- A 2-year commitment is required, with the possibility of renewal up to 5 years depending on satisfactory performance
- Strong capability in developing micro / nano sensors with component and system-level testing for biomedical applications and related data analysis
- Collaboration in research programs with multidisciplinary research groups
