Entry Level Accountant
Our client is looking to add an entry level accountant to their team! This is an in person position with room for growth, compensating $50K (depending on experience).
Title : Entry Level Accountant
Location : Fairfax, VA
Compensation : $50K
Keys to Hire :
- Preferably 1-2 years' accounting experience
- Exposure to processing AP / AR invoices
- Bachelor's degree or higher
Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare AP and AR invoices
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Assist with document preparation for internal audits
- Vendor contact outreach with AP duties
- Assist with account reconciliations
- Ad hoc accounting tasks as needed
- Input Excel data accurately and efficiently
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree (finance or accounting degree a plus)
- 1-2 years' accounting experience
- Proficient in Excel, (Quickbooks or Sage a plus)
- Strong attention to detail
- Well organized and a self-started
