Colorado Construction & Design® (CCD) is the leading construction industry news and marketing magazine in Colorado. We serve as an information sharing resource for architects, engineers, and contractors in the AEC industry.

Our print and digital magazines reaches over 50,000 industry professionals in Colorado and neighboring states. CCD is a trusted media partner with numerous trade organizations, such as ULI, IECRM, USGBC, HCC, NUCA, and AIA Colorado, CCD is also the official publisher for AGC Colorado.

CCD is direct mailed every six weeks to major AEC Colorado industry decision makers.

Role Description

Colorado Construction & Design® magazine is seeking a part-time Advertising Sales Exec. / Public Relations Liaison to join our team.

Ideal candidate will be expected to reliably attend construction industry conferences and networking events and drive revenue growth through Advertising sales.

Event schedule will be provided.) Setup and manage our trade show booth when applicable. When no booth setup is required - attend events and take photos for publication and network.

Expect four or more, 2-4 hour events per month (some events will require six or more hours) - early morning / afternoon / evening networking events, conferences, happy hours, golf outings, fly fishing, clay shoot events and more.

Starting Pay : $25 / hour while attending events PLUS commission.

Earn generous commission for advertising sales (digital and print).

Qualifications

• Must live in Colorado.
• A friendly and outgoing personality preferred.
• Photography skills a plus.
• Familiarity with construction industry is a plus.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects, and drive revenue growth through Ad Sales.
• Minimum 2 years of experience (or more in lieu of a degree) in sales, marketing, advertising, or public relations, with a strong focus on customer / client relationship management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with clients and industry partners.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, social media, and content management systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
