Elementary Teacher (Huntington Learning Center of Fairfax)

At the Huntington Learning Center of Fairfax, we have recently had an influx of elementary students (k-5) for whom we need qualified teachers to work with them 1 : 1.

You would work with the same student / students consistently with a recurring weekly schedule. Huntington is one of the largest K-12 Supplemental Education providers in the country.

We get the best results of any tutoring service by providing individualized academic programs based on the specific educational needs of each student.

We assess students and determine any "holes" or gaps in their academic foundation. We then follow prescribed academic programs to bring students' skills up to the level where they can confidently and successfully work at grade level.

We focus on foundational phonics, reading, writing, and math skills. Programs also include full-time staff meeting with parents and teachers from school to ensure that each student has a program that best suits their needs.

Our center is also an accredited school (MSA-CESS). but we only focus on bringing student's foundational skills up to grade level (Reading / Writing / Math / Phonics / Study Skills).

We are seeking college graduates with a passion for helping students learn. You will use a program that will allow you to easily access all curriculum, allowing you to focus on engaging with the student.

Benefits / Compensation

• $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
