Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY : This is a full-time accounting specialist position in the Finance & Accounting Department. Under the direction of the Associate Director, Accounting and Reporting, this position will assist with the month end close process, accounts payable and pricing for Crystal Farms. This position is estimated at approximately 40 hrs per week and serves as an accounting resource for the corporate accounting team at Crystal Farms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Prepare journal entries and account recs for month end close.

Code and process accounts payable for corporate office expenses.

Update corporate cost center reports and assist in variance analysis.

Review and resolve customer invoices for pricing issues.

Process deductions for prepaid customers.

Work with the sales team to track spending on sponsorships, events and tradeshows

Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION : Associate or bachelor's degree in business with accounting emphasis preferred

EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 1-2 years' financial accounting and reporting experience

SKILL AND ABILITIES :

Ability to effectively prioritize workload

Willingness to learn and motivated to problem solve

Basic accounting knowledge (debits, credits, P&L and Balance Sheet)

Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others

Highly developed attention to detail

Strong technology skills in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems - SAP experience preferred

The pay range for this position is $47,077 - $64,024 per year.
