Strategic Parts Manager

Louis (I-170 and Olive) corporate office.
As a team member of Wiese, you will be responsible for promoting our vision, cultural values, and safety guidelines while supporting all that has made Wiese a leader in the material handling equipment and service industry.
You will make it a priority to ensure that you and your team members go home healthy every day.
Job Responsibilities
You will provide professional, timely and accurate support to our customer base. Your specific duties will include :
- Sets stock goals based on fill rates and turns for specific customers and product lines.
- Uses data to determine best product categories to direct source.
- Keep up to date with vendors and websites available for crossing part numbers to take advantage of pricing agreements with preferred vendors.
- Track and assist in expediting backorders and billing direct shipped parts.
- Follow all purchase order procedures per individual customer specifications.
- Follows company transfer rules to requisitions parts from other company parts departments.
- Procurement or bulk purchasing experience.
- Vendor qualifications and negotiation.
- Supply chain management.
- Product requirement and specification development.
