Job Summary :
The Accounting Clerk 2 will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in support of the accounting department. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of financial processes and the ability to work with accuracy and efficiency. The role involves compiling, reviewing, and auditing financial data, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Compile, prepare, review, and audit various accounting and financial reports.
- Enter or upload data into company systems using designated computer programs.
- Verify the accuracy of invoices, financial documents, and records.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining records information management policies and best practices.
- Provide quality customer service to internal clients, suppliers, and customers.
- Handle moderately complex administrative or accounting-related issues under general supervision.
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate staff members for resolution.
- Support departmental goals through accurate documentation and compliance with company procedures.
- Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills :
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial transactions.Proficiency in data entry and computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.Good communication and organizational skills.Ability to work under general supervision and handle multiple priorities.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Education :
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience :
Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative support preferred.
