Accountant

RAND is seeking an Accountant to support financial transactions and reporting within the Finance & Accounting department.

Duties

Responsibilities include journal entries, general ledger account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, preparation of management reports, quarterly / annual financial statements, rollforwards, and revenue recognition. Additional responsibilities include compiling and preparing supporting documentation and schedules for audit requests, and researching, compiling, and analyzing data for projects / reports as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience and understanding of accounting transactions required
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently
• Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to organize workflow in an efficient manner
• Aptitude to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy
• Proficiency using MS Office suite required
• Strong Excel skills with experience with large data sets required

Salary Range : $64,400 - $96,100
