Job Title : Associate Corporate Counsel
Location : Columbus, OH (Onsite 4 days / week)
Salary : $100K-$120K + Bonus
Skills : Legal Compliance, Commercial Transactions, Contracts : including reviewing, drafting and negotiating International contracts
About Company / Opportunity : We are a rapidly growing global manufacturer with over $1B in annual revenue that needs a detail oriented Associate Corporate Counsel to join our team.
We are looking for someone to bring their extensive contracting experience to the table, as they collaborate with our business leaders on commercial transactions and offer legal guidance throughout various aspects of our operations.
Responsibilities :
You will stay informed of domestic and international laws and company operating agreements and bylaws to ensure the company acts in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
Contracts will be a big part of the position, and you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of contracts (such as vendor agreements, licensing agreements, confidentiality agreements, sales contracts, purchase orders and service contracts).
Must-Have Skills :
- Licensed attorney with a JD from an accredited law school
- 3+years of experience practicing contract law, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing
- Strong knowledge of corporate law and commercial transactions, including financing
- Experience with International Contracts
Nice to Have Skills :
- Fluent in Chinese
- Experience in Manufacturing or Renewable Energy
- Experience with supply chain, procurement contracts or sales
