Provides leadership and management for the bariatric service at the facility to assure optimal care for patients seeking / receiving bariatric surgery while meeting regulatory requirements from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric (ASMBS).

Responsible for daily operations of the bariatric program and the achievement of standards related to quality care, patient satisfaction, and fiscally responsible care delivery.

• Oversees and manages day-to-day operations for the Bariatric program.* Works collaboratively with clinic and hospital staff and other patient care departments in managing bariatric patient / family care processes.
• In collaboration with the Bariatric Coordinator, oversees and assists with preparation of monthly bariatric performance improvement committee meetings.
• oordinates preparation for ASMBS certification visits.* Assures compliance with ASMBS Center of Excellence requirements and anticipates changes in requirements and works collaboratively with the Bariatric Medical Director to make appropriate program modifications / changes.
• Collaborates with Bariatric Medical director to provide daily operational oversight of human resources by ensuring appropriate operational functions staff level and utilization.
• Participate in and provide input on the selection of bariatric program staff.* In collaboration with the unit or department leaders, identifies staff development and training needs.
• Responsible for compliance with all regulatory agencies, Federal, State and hospital standards.* Reviews and revises policies as needed.
• Serves as liaison between staff and other areas within the facility at large and as an advisor to other disciplines.* Participates in strategic planning and program development.
• Identifies, develops, and implements quality improvement initiatives. Identifies quality indicators and measurable outcomes.
• Assists Bariatric Medical Director and departmental leaders in developing the department / program budget as it relates to care of the bariatric patient.

Schedule : Full-time (Days) 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm Monday-FridayWhat You Bring / Job Requirements : In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following : * Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare* 5 to 10 year's of progressive centers of excellence program management experience, required* 2 years of leadership experience, required* Expereince with bariatric regsitry and coding, preferredProvides leadership and management for the bariatric service at the facility to assure optimal care for patients seeking / receiving bariatric surgery while meeting regulatory requirements from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric (ASMBS).

The Bariatric Program Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, implementing, coordination and evaluation the effectiveness of the day to day operations of the Bariatric Program in accordance with the facility policies, philosophy objectives and standards.
