This is a senior leadership opportunity for a visionary marketing professional passionate about decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain innovation. You will shape the global positioning and go-to-market strategy of DeepBook — a next-generation decentralized liquidity engine. As the driving force behind all marketing, communications, and brand storytelling, you will define how developers, traders, and institutions engage with this technology. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, working cross-functionally to build awareness, foster adoption, and scale engagement across diverse audiences in the DeFi ecosystem.
Accountabilities :
- Define and lead the global marketing and branding strategy for DeepBook to align with growth and ecosystem objectives.
- Develop clear, differentiated narratives that translate complex financial and technical innovations into accessible and compelling messaging.
- Oversee product launches, campaigns, and community engagement initiatives across multiple platforms and user segments.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Business Development teams to create and execute high-impact go-to-market strategies.
- Build DeepBook’s reputation as a trusted, innovative DeFi protocol across institutional, retail, and developer communities.
- Leverage data, market insights, and user behavior trends to continuously refine strategy, messaging, and positioning.
- Drive collaboration on broader initiatives such as liquidity incentives, stablecoin innovation, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Serve as a visible leader and advocate for the brand, representing DeepBook at industry events and through thought leadership content.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in product marketing, growth, or brand strategy for technical or financial products.Proven track record developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies in crypto, fintech, or capital markets.Strong knowledge of DeFi, trading systems, and liquidity protocols, with the ability to communicate to technical and financial audiences alike.Exceptional storytelling, writing, and communication skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Experience building high-performance marketing teams and scaling community-driven ecosystems.Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.Deep understanding of DEX market structure, liquidity mechanisms, and DeFi adoption trends.Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution.Benefits
