About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled System Operations Engineer to support our enterprise-wide Windows 11 migration initiative and ongoing IT operations at our Phoenix, AZ facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining service levels, leading imaging center operations, and ensuring the success of large-scale infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the Windows 11 migration project , ensuring timely delivery in line with enterprise goals.

Manage PC configuration activities at the Phoenix site, including large-scale imaging of laptops and desktops with Windows 11.

Oversee the transition of legacy Windows 10 devices , ensuring readiness and compliance with corporate standards.

Supervise and optimize Intune Autopilot based deployments , coordinating with engineering and infrastructure teams.

Maintain local network and file server infrastructure to ensure seamless integration between on-premises and SaaS provisioning systems.

Serve as the primary escalation point for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues affecting end-user systems.

Collaborate closely with Intune, OS, and hardware engineering teams to triage and resolve production issues, including system and process testing.

Provide daily break / fix support to onsite Technology Operations Analysts handling high-volume Windows 11 service requests.

Train analysts on new or updated operational procedures, ensuring consistency in device configuration and support practices.

Manage and resolve lifecycle and project orders , reducing backlog and improving service delivery.

Support the Service Desk in handling expedite orders and providing timely order status updates.

Ensure adherence to SLAs for all break / fix requests and strive for continuous improvement in turnaround time and user satisfaction.

Maintain service continuity amid peer center closures and SME transitions , ensuring operational stability and business continuity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with Windows 11 OS , including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, configuration, and system management.

Experience with Microsoft Graph API for system integration and troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of Intune Autopilot , SCCM, and related enterprise imaging tools.

Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and Windows infrastructure components .

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to perform under pressure in a high-volume support environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional IT teams.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing project timelines and business requirements.
